Eureka’s Carly Hammond and Bigfork’s Emily Hardman were both named to the Class B All State volleyball squad this past week.

Hammond, a 5-foot-8 senior, helped lead the Lions to a 19-8 overall record and third place in the recent Western B divisional tournament.

Hardman, also a 5-8 senior, helped the Bigfork Valkyries to a 16-5 record and the District 7B championship.

The other All-State volleyball pick from District 7B was 5-5 senior Kyla Molzhon of Thompson Falls.

All three were honored as part of the first team all-conference squad, which also included seniors Tayler Holder of Eureka and Claire Wilken of Bigfork.
