Today's Parade magazine features Bozeman man

Greg Mortenson, director of Montana-based nonprofit Central Asia Institute, will be featured in Parade magazine this weekend.

Parade is inserted in the Daily Inter Lake every Sunday.

The Parade magazine article is related to Mortenson’s 16-year effort to promote girls education, literacy and build schools in remote parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan. Mortenson’s new book, “Stones Into Schools,” will be released Dec. 1.

Mortenson is currently at home in Bozeman, recuperating from a bout of viral pericarditis and low oxygen saturation. He said the article “will be a tremendous boost for our efforts in Pakistan and Afghanistan.”
