Cheryl Lee Swan-Wright, 54

Cheryl Lee Swan-Wright, 54, passed away at her home in Kalispell on Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, after a short battle with a rare form of cancer. She was born on May 12, 1955, in Lewistown, to Frank and Virginia Swan. After high school she pursued college studies in jazz dance and arts. She started working as a certified nursing assistant at the age of 16. After moving to the Flathead Valley in 1982, Cheryl worked as a certified nursing assistant at the hospital and then proceeded to work for Heritage Place. She was given many awards over the years for her achievements in excellent care given to her residents. She was loved by all. We would all like to send a special thanks to the volunteers who helped us in our time of need. She was preceded in death by her father, Frank Swan, in 1984; and her mother, Virginia Swan, in 2008. She is survived by her husband, Aaron Jordan, of Kalispell; her three children, Terri Mansfield-Wright, Tim Witherspoon and Kanisa Witherspoon, of Kalispell; her two grandchildren, Kendra McKoon and Domonick Baker, and her expected grandson, Drake Brechbill, all of Kalispell; four stepchildren, Todd and Jason Jordan, and Amber and Alan Keithley; two stepgrandchildren, Hannah and Gavin Keithley, of Missoula; four sisters, JoAnne Squire of Daytona Beach, Fla., Linda Norton of Borrego Springs, Calif., Marlene Huerta of Fairbanks, Alaska, and LaVonne McGladrey of Lincoln; two brothers, Donald Clark of San Jose, Calif., and Gilbert Fluery of Great Falls; along with numerous nieces, nephews and family members. Memorial services for Cheryl will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1, at the Christian Center, 255 Summit Ridge Dr., in Kalispell.
