Cleanup project under way
Whitefish River Cleanup
A construction crew tears out part of the bike path near the BNSF Railway roundhouse in Whitefish on Tuesday morning to make way for the cleanup of petroleum-contaminated sediment in the Whitefish River. This section of the BNSF Loop Trail bike path is projected to be closed through Dec. 19.
