Kids allegedly keep tampering with the sign to a subdivision in Lakeside by removing the letters. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies were asked to conduct extra patrols in the area.

Kalispell police

A boy at Flathead High School allegedly threatened to bring a knife into the building and cut the genitals off another boy. One of the boys' mothers called Kalispell police.

A Great View Drive resident called the neighbor's 9-year-old a name because he was riding his bike in the wrong driveway. The matter was settled with a talking to and a hand shake.

Someone walking in the area of Eighth Avenue East North set off some fireworks near a garbage can.

Four men who initially refused to leave an Airport Road bar decided to go before officers arrived.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of DUI and careless driving after a crash on Minnesota Avenue.

Officers received 34 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating reports that a building was broken into on First Street West.

Officers cited a 19-year-old man for possession of alcohol and a 25-year-old man for contributing to the delinquency of a minor while conducting a welfare check on Seventh Street West.

Officers received 21 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 3:30 p.m. Thursday.

Alarms

The Whitefish Fire Department was paged out to a crash in the Skyles Place area.

The Kalispell Fire Department was dispatched to a reported chimney fire on Hawthorn Avenue.

The Somers Fire Department, Lakeside Quick Response Unit, and Kalispell Fire Department responded to a crash on U.S. 93 north of Lakeside.

The Coram Fire Department, Hungry Horse Fire Department, and Martin City Fire Department extinguished a fire in a trailer home off Coram Stage Road. The fire, which started in the wood stove, heavily damaged the trailer.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to Two Mile Drive after a claustrophobic woman got stuck in an elevator.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to East California Street after a wall-plug sparked, causing smoke.
