Flathead County sheriff

Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Hungry Horse trailer park after parents called to report that their daughter was fighting with her boyfriend. He initially refused to leave and threatened the parents, who decided not to press charges.

Animal wardens responded to a King's Way residence after a neighbor called to complain they were "hoarding" rabbits.

Items, including a gun, were reported stolen during a break-in at a Bison Drive home.

Mailboxes allegedly were vandalized Monday night on Edgewood Drive in Evergreen.

Columbia Falls police on Monday charged a boy at the high school with drug possession.

Officers received 11 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded Tuesday afternoon to a chimney fire on Sixth Street West. Flames spread into the attic before the blaze was extinguished.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to West Nicklaus Drive after a resident reported smelling natural gas. The culprit was a malfunctioning furnace.

The Somers Fire Department was paged out to what turned out to be a controlled burn on Boon Road.

Paramedics with the Kalispell Fire Department responded to a U.S. 93 South motel to treat a man possibly suffering from hypothermia. He was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

The Creston Fire Department responded to extinguish a burning brush pile on Mennonite Church Road.

The Whitefish Fire Department responded to Karrow Avenue after a brush fire blew into a neighbor's field.
