The autumn sun begins its descent behind the corn maze.

Farmer Chris Fritz has created a 3-acre corn maze on his Birch Grove Road property.

The maze is open today from noon to 7 p.m., and Fridays, 3 to 6 p.m., Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., and Sundays, noon to 7 p.m., through Halloween weekend.

Also on Oct. 30-31, there will be "corn spooking" from 8 to 10 p.m.

Admission is $5 per person.

To reach the maze, turn east off of U.S. 2 on Birch Grove Road. For more information, call 350-3048.
