Patsy Jane Sagen, 75

Surrounded by family, Patsy Jane Sagen, 75, peacefully passed away on Oct. 18, 2009, at the Brendan House in Kalispell. After a long battle with cancer, diabetes and kidney disease, "she is now in the hands of our Lord."

Patsy was born on Nov. 18, 1933, in Kalispell to George and Margaret (Tigges) Thomas.

She is survived by her husband, Wally Sagen, of Kalispell; a sister, Daisy Boding, and Keith; a brother, Frank Thomas, and Marjean; sons, Wendell Hansen and Sherri, and Matthew Hansen and Linda; and stepsons, Roger Sagen and Ku-Maing, Rodney Sagen and Anna, and Gary Sagen and Kathy. Patsy is also survived by eight grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Mark Hansen; daughters, Rebecca Hansen and Wanda Ferguson; and a stepson, Richard Sagen.

Memorial services for Patsy will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 22, in the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Chapel with Pastor Scott Craven officiating.

The family suggests memorial gifts be given to the Brendan House, 350 Conway Dr., Kalispell, MT 59901; or the Dialysis Center, 135 Commons Way, Kalispell, MT 59901.
