LIBBY - Lexy Boschee had 10 kills and three aces and the Glacier volleyball team took down Libby 25-17, 25-20 and 25-20 in nonconference action on Tuesday.

Kendra Bouley added nine kills and 11 digs, Paige Latimer had 30 assists and the Wolfpack improved to 7-8 overall with two weeks left before divisionals begin.

"My outside hitters (Boschee and Rachel Cutler) played very well," Glacier coach Christy Harkins said. "As a team we struggled with our passing. Libby has some good aggressive passers ... Definitely on offense we need to keep working, but we're getting close on a lot of things."

Jackie Mee had 10 kills and 10 digs while Alex Kulbeck added seven kills and five blocks for Libby, who falls to 6-3 overall.

"I didn't feel like we competed as well as we should have, but Glacier came at us hard with serves and ran some offensive stuff that we don't see a lot of," Libby coach Cindy Ostrem-Johnston said.

Both teams will play in Missoula at the 16-team tournament this weekend. Before that, Libby will play at Polson on Thursday.

Kills - Glacier 35 (Lexy Boschee 10, Kendra Bouley 9), Libby 23 (Jackie Mee 10, Alex Kulbeck 7); Assists - Glacier 32 (Paige Latimer 30), Libby 20 (Evi Cernick 20); Blocks - Glacier 6 (Tiffany Marks 5), Libby 8 (Kulbeck 5, Katie Emery 3); Digs - Glacier 32 (Bouley 11), Libby 41 (Mee 10, Logan Best 9); Aces - Glacier 11 (Boschee 3, Tami Mathison 3), Libby 6 (Best 2, Emery 2)
