Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks will hold a meeting Nov. 4 to get public comments on an access development and land trade project on Foy's Lake.

The meeting will be held at the Lone Pine State Park Visitor Center at 6 p.m.

The project, detailed in an environmental assessment released on Aug. 31, involves improving parking, trails, signs and fencing at the site located west of the more developed Flathead County park on Foy's Lake.

The project also involves trading for two small "inholder" plots of land that currently are sandwiched between state lands on the lake.

The public comment period for the project recently was extended to Nov. 10.

The environmental assessment is available at Montana Fish, Wildlife and Parks headquarters on Meridian Road in Kalispell or online under "public notices" at www.fwp.mt.gov.
