Flathead County sheriff
The clerk at an Evergreen convenience store got into a disturbance with a customer, who apparently wanted surveillance video of an altercation he was in the night before. Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded, but the customer already had gone.
Someone stole the engine and transmission out of a car on Truman Creek Road.
A man on Montana 35 in Evergreen called authorities to report his wife missing.
Shots reportedly were heard in the Star Meadows area, but deputies were unable to find anything suspicious.
A car rolled over on a Forest Service road off Peters Ridge Road, but no medical personnel were required.

Kalispell police
Someone, or something, on the porch of a 10th Street West home was either an older woman in a nightgown or a Halloween decoration, according to a passer-by. Kalispell police were unable to find anything suspicious.
Officers arrested a 29-year-old woman on a county-issued contempt of court warrant for traffic offenses during a disturbance on Seventh Avenue West.
A gym bag was stolen from a health club on Sunnyview Lane. A snow shovel missing from outside the back door of an East Idaho Street restaurant was found at a nearby motel.
Transients camping near a power substation off Center Street were removed from the premises.

Alarms
The Kalispell Fire Department responded Tuesday afternoon to a home on Seventh Avenue West after a baby reportedly stopped breathing.
The Coram Fire Department, Hungry Horse Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS were paged out to a two-car crash on U.S. 2 near Essex that shut down one lane of the highway. Two people were injured, and one went to North Valley Hospital.
Reports of a structure fire off Montana 35 turned out to be about a controlled burn. The Creston Fire Department responded.
