Marilyn (Young) McDannald, 71
Marilyn (Young) McDannald, 71, passed away Aug. 19, 2009, in Atlanta, after a short battle with cancer. Marilyn was born Aug. 8, 1938, in Kalispell, to Merlin and Mabel Young. She graduated from Flathead County High School in 1956 and then attended Kinmin Business School in Spokane. After that Marilyn traveled to Atlanta and worked for Delta Airlines.
Marilyn married Frank C. McDannald in 1959 and had lived in the Atlanta area for 50 years. She was a co-owner of Precision Measurements, a manufacturing business.
Marilyn enjoyed bridge, her flowers and yard, boating and traveling with her grandchildren.
Marilyn was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and one sister, Beverly.
Survivors include her daughters, Sharon Wood and Aimee Josey, and son, Cliff McDannald Jr., of Atlanta; also nine grandchildren; and one sister, Barbara Schlabs, of Lakeside.
A memorial service has taken place in Atlanta.
