Free prostate screenings offered

Local urologists are offering free prostate cancer screenings in cooperation with The Summit Medical Fitness Center in Kalispell.

Both dates require appointments in advance by calling 751-4500.

Dates open for screening appointments are:

n Oct. 1 from 4:30 to 7:30 p.m. at The Summit in Kalispell.

n Oct. 3 from 9 a.m. to noon at Whitefish Orthopedic Clinic in Whitefish.

Screenings include a digital rectal exam and PSA blood test.

Local urologists participating include Dr. John Andenoro, Dr. Robert Kirk, Dr. Amy McKerrow and Dr. Jon Mercer. Patients may not specify a physician for these free screenings.
