Allan Howard Johnson, 65

Allan H. Johnson, 65, passed away Sept. 17, 2009. He was born Oct. 27,1943.

He attended the University of Wisconsin from 1961-1965, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in conservation and biology. In 1981, he received an Associate of Science degree in petroleum technology from Casper College.

Allan was recently retired from Daywireless. He had a career in the telecommunications industry as an account executive and sales manager, and had lived in Alaska, Montana, Wyoming, Wisconsin and Canada. He was also formerly a licensed Arizona Realtor, as well as Canadian hunting outfitter, paramedic, professional fire fighter and a professional football player for the New York Giants.

Allan's hobbies included hunting and fishing, football, flying, and snowmobile racing.

He was active in area Chambers of Commerce, including, Kalispell, Fairbanks, Alaska, and Fountain Hills, Ariz. He was an active member in the early '90s with the Montana Logging Association, People for an Economically Sound Montana, and a member of the Arizona Lions. Allan had garnered numerous outstanding sales awards.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Gladys Johnson.

He is survived by his daughter, Erin Johnson, of Bridger; and by his close friend, Paige Balvage, and adopted granddaughter, of Keizer, Ore.
