Flathead County Sheriff's deputies arrested a 17-year-old boy on suspicion of partner assault after he got into a fight with his girlfriend on White Birch Lane. During the disturbance, which was overheard by a neighbor, the boy allegedly hit her.

A suspicious man, dressed in black and seen running away from the East Cottonwood Drive area, was gone when deputies arrived.

Medication was reported stolen from a car in the parking lot of an Evergreen store and separately, on 11th Street West.

A man was arrested for violating the terms of his probation after allegedly making harassing and unwanted phone calls to a Somers-area woman.

Someone reportedly passed a counterfeit $50 bill at a casino on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

Deputies were called to settle landlord-tenant disputes in the Lakeside area and at a Helena Flats Road campground.

A neighborhood dog was spotted chasing deer in the Moose Ridge Lane area off Montana 35.

Two men selling screens and projectors of what a passerby thought was inferior quality are being investigated for perpetrating a scam.

An employee is accused of stealing an undisclosed amount of cash from a cellular phone business in Evergreen.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police responded to Eighth Avenue West after two men were observed in a 15 minute fist fight. Turns out the pair were engaged in a consentual mixed-martial-arts match in the garage. One of the men received treatment for a cut on the head and a possible concussion.

Two purses reportedly were stolen from a car on First Avenue East, possibly by a man.

An employee of a First Avenue West North business reported receiving harassing phone calls from two separate men, who apparently are with a call center from outside the country.

Officers were flagged down by a crying, intoxicated woman trying to get home from a Woodland Park Drive bar after an argument with her boyfriend.

A person was observed spinning brodies and speeding through the parking lot of Glacier High School.

The ex-boyfriend of a Kenway Drive resident's neighbor allegedly threatened to come over and beat up someone. He reportedly has threatened in the past to use a gun.

A woman living out of a pavilion near Woodland Park was advised to move along.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 21-year-old man on a Kalispell warrant for contempt of court after a crash on Baker Avenue.

A 59-year-old man was arrested for disturbing the peace after he stood out yelling on the corner of Baker Avenue and Second Street, causing a traffic hazard.

Officers arrested a 38-year-old man on suspicion of DUI, hit and run, drug possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia after he fled from a crash on Second Street East. He was discovered nearby.

Officers received 43 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police arrested a 49-year-old man on suspicion of DUI and drug possession following a traffic stop on U.S. 2.

Officers received 15 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to separate two-vehicle crashes Tuesday afternoon on Main Street and U.S. 93 North. No one was seriously injured.

The Hungry Horse Fire Department, Martin City Fire Department, and Three Rivers EMS responded to U.S. 2 after a car hit a tree. Two people were taken to North Valley Hospital.

The Somers Fire Department was paged out to clean up a three-gallon fuel spill on U.S. 93 near Lakeside.
