Kirk Patrick Denny, 54

Kirk Patrick Denny, 54, passed away on Wednesday, Sept. 23, 2009, at Heritage Place in Kalispell. He was born April 2, 1955, in Orange, Calif., to Louis and Vera (Fenner) Denny.

Kirk attended primary school in Orange, and grew up between California and New Mexico. In the early 1980s he served a short time in the Merchant Marines. He moved to Kalispell in 1996 where he worked as a private and commercial painter.

In 1999 he met the love of his life, Wanda Adams.

Kirk enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and anything associated with the outdoors. He loved listening to guitar music and Waylon Jennings. Kirk's passion was his family; he loved them deeply.

Kirk was preceded in death by his parents.

He is now survived by his wife, Wanda Adams, of Kalispell; two sisters, Nancy Engholm of Brainerd, Minn., and Patsy Wayman of Quail Valley, Calif.; three brothers, Lewis Denny III of Brainerd, and John Denny and Jim Denny, both of Kila; and numerous nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, in the Johnson-Gloschat Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Levi Lusko officiating. A potluck supper will follow the memorial service.
