Paramedics, city police, and Flathead County Sheriff's deputies responded to a Whitefish High School after a 16-year-old boy showed up with a head injury allegedly suffered in a family disturbance the night before.

License plates were reported lost early Friday morning in the Star Meadows area.

Someone shot out the tire to a tractor in the Lower Valley Road area. A mail box was vandalized on Swan River Road. A car was keyed on U.S. 2 in Columbia Falls.

Deputies were called to break up altercations Thursday night on Montana 35 and on Foothill Road.

Reports that a prescription was stolen in the Evergreen area are under investigation.

Deputies received 126 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Kalispell police

A man approached two young girls walking home from the bus stop on Fifth Avenue East and 12th Street and allegedly told them he liked to pull little girls' ponytails and give them a dollar, which he did. Kalispell police spoke with the man about what constitutes acceptable behavior.

The window of a van parked on First Avenue West was busted out. The owner thought he knew the culprit, who denied to police any involvement.

A man allegedly called and left a Fourth Avenue West woman a threatening message. She reportedly used his trash can, filling it up.

Officers were called to the playground of a Fourth Avenue East school to settle a disagreement among children, who were then sent home.

Someone on Garland Street heard a gunshot followed by a dog's yelp. Officers were unable to find anything amiss.

A man told police a Sixth Avenue East man is harassing his mother over pictures taken in connection with a property line dispute.

Officers received 80 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Thursday and 2:30 p.m. Friday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 24-year-old man reportedly on work release for the violation of his parole and for driving without a valid license during a traffic stop on Wisconsin Avenue and Edgewood Drive.

Two men, aged 28 and 37, were arrested in a disturbance at a Central Avenue bar.

Officers received 57 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police responded to U.S. 2 after a man allegedly hit a bicyclist then drove off. The man was confronted shortly afterwards by a person who saw him flee, but again got into his vehicle and this time backed into the witness. The man was arrested about an hour later. Neither of the people he allegedly hit were seriously injured.

A bear was spotted roaming the neighborhood in the C Street area.

Officers received 42 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Thursday and 3:30 p.m. Friday.

Alarms

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to a bar on Woodland Park Drive after a man reportedly overdosed on prescription medication. He was taken to the hospital.

The ALERT helicopter, Creston Fire Department, Kalispell Fire Department, and Bigfork Ambulance were paged out to the Creston area after a person suffered a reaction to a bee sting.

The Kalispell Fire Department responded to First Avenue West after a woman called the telephone company complaining she was covered in blood. The blood appeared to be from an old wound, and the woman was taken to the Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

Three Rivers EMS responded to Woodland Road to treat a person suffering an allergic reaction to a bee sting. The patient was taken to North Valley Hospital.
