Flathead County Sheriff's deputies took a woman to jail after she fought with another woman at a home on U.S. 93 south of Kalispell. One of the women had called back after the initial call for help, saying there was no need for a deputy to quell what turned out to be a physical and verbal fight.

The parent of a 2-year-old who reportedly swallowed a De-Con tablet called for help, and was told the poison control center would return the call. In the meantime, the parent was told what signs of poisoning to watch for.

A father said his 15-year-old son was assaulted by another teen after a case of road rage. Deputies found nobody was blameless in the situation, and nobody wanted to press charges.

Somebody was suspicious after spotting three kids standing outside a tavern in Hungry Horse.

A Bigfork bartender was concerned Friday night that a mother wanted to stay there drinking, even though she had her 10-year-old son along. They were given a ride home.

A man and woman were separated for the night after a disturbance reported on Solberg Court in Kalispell. A similar but unrelated situation occurred on Somers Avenue in Whitefish.

Brother, sister and an intoxicated boyfriend were involved in a disturbance on Tetrault Road.

Deputies had 183 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Kalispell police

Kalispell police took a report that a transient female pulled a 4-inch knife on a male along south Main Street Friday night, punched him three times and left. Police found there was no actual assault, but the victim said she did pull a knife on him. She was tracked down and warned she was not welcome back to a local establishment.

A saloon worker along U.S. 93 South said a former employee threatened to cut the worker's head off.

Police arrested a 41-year-old woman for possession of dangerous drugs and drug paraphernalia at an office building on North Main.

A woman sitting in a vehicle nursing her infant at a box store on U.S. 93 North called after a male twice tried to get into the vehicle. He was turned over to his mother.

Police found a missing 7-year-old disabled boy and reunited him with his mother.

Security personnel at a Second Avenue East bar said they saw no sign of a man who was found by somebody else, sitting at a pole in the parking lot and saying he had a broken collar bone.

Reckless driving and a struck Jeep ended with a man's DUI arrest.

There was a subwoofer left in a yard on Fourth Avenue West.

A man was removed from a patient's room in Kalispell Regional Medical Center Saturday morning.

The lock was broken and Black Widow was written on the wall when Flathead Soccer Club showed up at KidSport Saturday.

The marijuana smell wafting through the windows came from the apartment of a person who has a medical marijuana card.

Police had 87 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Columbia Falls police

Columbia Falls police are investigating an unattended death on Fifth Avenue EN.

Police arrested a 29-year-old man for DUI on U.S. 2 Saturday night.

Police had 37 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Whitefish police

Whitefish police arrested a 26-year-old man for DUI, no insurance and hit-and-run early Saturday.

Vehicle break-ins were reported by a half-dozen callers on East Third and Fourth Streets and Willow Brook Close. A window was broken, a vehicle was damaged, and purses were stolen and rifled through.

A 49-year-old man who would not leave his ex's home on Willow Brook Close was charged with criminal trespass Saturday morning.

Police had 56 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Friday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.

Alarms

Columbia Falls Fire Department was called to a small fire at Great Northern Bark Co. It was extinguished.

Kalispell ambulance took an elderly man to the hospital after he cut himself; he is on blood thinners.

Marion Fire Department was called after smoke was spotted around 11 a.m. Sunday two miles northeast of the post office on Idaho Hill outside Marion. Other firefighters joined the effort and by late afternoon had the blaze in mop-up stage.
