Tax Day rallies planned today

A Tax Day rally is planned at 3 p.m. today at Depot Park in Kalispell.

The rally is organized by Northwest Montana Patriots and Bigfork Tea Party.

“If you agree that our federal government is a big, bloated, bungling bureaucracy that spends and taxes far too much, then join us for a peaceful but spirited protest,” organizer Linda Johnson said.

Also today, Freedom Action Rally is planning a tax protest in front of the Kalispell office of U.S. Sen. Max Baucus at 8 Third St. E. and also at Depot Park.

This event is scheduled to run from 2 to 5 p.m.
