A boy who took a bicycle was followed home by the owner at 7 p.m. Monday, according to a report. The boy refused to come to the door. The standoff was ended with a phone call.
A man, woman and three children were found safe after being reported missing on the North Fork of the Flathead at 9 p.m. after leaving on a rafting and kayaking trip.
A woman picking huckleberries near the Hungry Horse Reservoir was reported missing after she hadn’t returned by Monday evening. She had been staying with a friend.
Kalispell Police responded after an 8-year-old boy was allegedly caught attempting to carry $500 in merchandise out of a business at 7:14 p.m. Monday on Highway 93 North. The child was released to his mother.
A woman reported the theft of $20,000 in cash and checks from a purse that was left in her vehicle in the 1400 block of Third Avenue East at 9:51 a.m. Tuesday. The reported theft is under investigation.
A girl’s bicycle helmet was reported stolen from a lawn by someone driving a green car in the 300 block of Sixth Avenue East North.
Two cellular phones were reported stolen from a truck at a business in Hutton Ranch Plaza at 11:45 p.m. Monday.

A customer at a downtown business attempted to use a possibly stolen credit card. The man grabbed the card back from the cashier and left at about 10 p.m.
A possibly drunk driver was reported at 8:38 p.m. in a north Kalispell shopping area. A woman reported the man had threatened to follow her home and hurt her after almost running her over.
A 46-year-old transient was arrested near a drive-through business in the 100 block of South Main Street at 10:41 p.m. He attempted to order from the outdoor menu board, and has been told not to come back.
