Wilma Jean Schreckendgust, 86

Our mother went to be with the Lord and our father Saturday, July 31, 2010. She was born Oct. 20, 1924, to Alta and Max Levisay in Havre. She went to school in Havre and was raised by Alta and Chester Collier. Wilma Jean married Bob Reum in 1944, and together they had two sons, Jack and Jerry. They divorced in 1955 and she moved to the Flathead, where she met and married John Schreckendgust in1958. They had two children together, John and Julie. She was preceded in death by her sister, Maxine Ruth Levisay, in 1928; mother, Alta Collier; father, Max Levisay; stepfather, Chester Collier; and her beloved husband, John Schreckendgust, in 1992. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Balch and her husband, Eric of Columbia Falls; sons, Jerry Reum and his wife, Sherrie of Hopkins, S.C., Jack Reum of Grand Forks, Neb., John Schreckendgust IV and his wife, Pam of Toole, Utah; grandchildren, Andrea Vaa, Richard Vaa, Diana Balch, Tammy Reum, Rob Reum, and John Schreckendgust V; seven great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. A life celebration will be held at a later date when the entire family can be together. The family will hike to a favorite location to spread the ashes of both John and Jean.
