Parents who haven’t yet registered their children in the Columbia Falls School District may do so this week.

Registration at Columbia Falls Junior High is from 8 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. today. Parents are asked to bring a copy of their children’s immunization records.

Registration in the district’s three elementary schools — Glacier Gateway and Ruder in Columbia Falls and Canyon Elementary in Hungry Horse — is from 8 to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Thursday. Parents are asked to bring copies of their children’s immunization records and birth certificates.

Kindergarten students must be 5 years old by Sept. 10 to attend school this year.

Registration at Columbia Falls High School is by appointment only. Call 892-6500, ext. 0, to schedule a meeting with a counselor. Parents are asked to bring their students’ immunization records and a copy of their transcripts.

For additional information, call the appropriate school building or, for general inquiries, the district office, 892-6550 extension 421 or 422. School begins Aug. 26.
