A 14-year-old boy from the Seeley Lake area is missing and regarded as a possible runaway, according to the Missoula County’s Sheriff’s Office

Stanley Schilling wandered away from the Lake Inez Campground Aug. 6. His stepfather Tom Richardson said he is believed to have been picked up five miles north of that location.

Richardson said Schilling is hitchhiking and was last seen in Essex. He might be in the area of West Glacier and trying to reach Great Falls, Richardson said.

Schilling is described as a white male, 5-foot-6, 130 pounds with light brown hair and green eyes. He was wearing a gray baseball-style hat, white shirt, blue jean shorts and had no shoes when he left the campground.

Anyone with information is asked to call the family at 406-677-0116 or Missoula County Sheriff’s Office at 406-258-4810.
