James A. Seek, 79

James A. Seek, 79, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at his home in Kalispell. James was born on Feb. 27, 1931, in Kalispell, to Cecil M. and Helen (Koford) Seek. He was raised in Kalispell, graduating from Flathead County High School in 1951. James married Veronica Stuber on Sept. 13, 1985, in Coeur d Alene, Idaho. He was very proud of having helped build the Hungry Horse Dam. James worked for the U.S. Forest Service doing many jobs; he retired after 26 years of service. He was a member of the Kalispell Lions Club. James loved hunting and fishing. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Helen Seek; and one brother, Darrel Seek. He is survived by his wife, Veronica; sons, Forrest and Candy Seek, Wade and Jeanette Seek, and Ryan Seek; and a daughter, Sharmayne Colbert; two grandsons, Carsen and Colton Colbert; and his sister, Phyllis, and Roy Caldwell.
