Carlyle Dow Crum, 82

Carlyle Dow Crum, formerly of Whitefish, passed away Aug. 1, 2010, in Chandler, Ariz., at the age of 82 years. He was born July 10, 1928, in Bellingham Wash., He was preceded in death by his parents, Carlyle Petty Crum and Dorothy Dow Crum; his sister, Gloria Mashburn; and his wife, Judy Crum. He is survived by sons, Chris Crum and family, and James Crum and family, all of Sacramento, Calif.; stepdaughter, Debra Maltzberger, and family of Santa Ana, Calif.; and stepson, David Henniger of Lodi, Calif. Dow joined the U.S. Marine Corps in June 1946. He worked for the State of California, and owned and operated Crum s Instant Print in Whitefish, for many years. Later, he sold real estate in Sun Lakes, Ariz. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Sept. 3 at the Sun Lakes Chapel, 9240 E. Sun Lakes Blvd. N., Sun Lakes, Ariz.
