Pollster reportedly threatens to bite
A woman reported to Kalispell Police that two men in a silver van with Wyoming license plates were at her door wanting to do a survey. One of the men reportedly said something about biting her.
A woman wanted to take a dark green Mazda 626 at a residence in the 1300 block of First Avenue West due to the owner being “deported to Iraq.” Two women were advised to stay off the property until the owner gives permission to release the vehicle.
A woman on Northern Lights Boulevard was arrested for a felony warrant out of Havre at 4:52 p.m. Saturday.
At 8:11 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported that the passenger window on her 2000 Toyota Camry had been shattered. She discovered it while taking a break from her job in the 2400 block of U.S. 93 North.
A man was arrested after a physical disturbance at 9:37 p.m. Saturday on Glacier Street. He reportedly was trying to attack people in a yard and trying to break down a door.
Four or five men were fighting in the 100 block of Glenwood Drive at 11:39 p.m. Saturday. One of the men was arrested on a warrant out of Eureka.
Police responded to Third Avenue West at 12:38 a.m. Sunday after young people were reported at a party. Seven minors were cited and released.
A woman on Woodland Park Drive called 911 at 12:58 a.m. Saturday to report that she couldn’t get out of her car. The woman had been drinking but hung up before dispatch could get a vehicle description.
Theft of a big wooden sign in front of a business in the 300 block of East Idaho Street was reported at 10:51 a.m. Sunday. The sign was later recovered minus a $10 part.
A one-vehicle accident at Fifth Avenue West North was reported at 12:53 p.m. Sunday. One person was injured, and there was a lot of debris in the road. The vehicle was on the curb. The injured person refused medical treatment.
Lake County Sheriff’s deputies responded to a one-vehicle accident at 9:34 p.m. Saturday near North Foothills and Canyon Mill roads between Pablo and Ronan after an apparently intoxicated man was given a ride and then took off with the vehicle and crashed it. Montana Highway Patrol later arrested the man.
Alarms
Police responded to a three-vehicle accident at 6:35 p.m. Saturday at the intersection of Fifth Avenue East and Second Street in Kalispell. Someone reported that one vehicle struck a tree and another struck a pickup. A truck with a Florida license plate had severe driver’s side damage, and a car had severe front-end damage. At least one person was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
A 13-year-old girl was taken to the hospital after being dragged about 50 feet on a horse.
