Bulldog golfers dominate outing

RONAN - It was nearly all Whitefish on Friday at the Ronan Invitational golf tournament.

Whitefish finished the one-day event at Mission Mountain Golf Course by taking medalist honors in boys and girls play and claiming the team title on the girls side.

Hamilton spoiled a perfect day for WHS, winning the boys team title by seven shots over the Bulldogs.

Reed Platke shot a 70 to lead WHS. The medalist finished three strokes ahead of Eli Rogers of Hamilton.

Kiley McConnell of Whitefish carded a 77 and finished 11 shots ahead of teammate and runner-up Danielle McCully.

McConnell has been the medalist in Whitefish's first two outings of the fall season.
