Frank Edwin Ed Scott, 59
Frank Edwin Ed Scott, of Pablo, passed away Aug. 21, 2010, at St. Mary s Medical Center, in Evansville, Ind., after a courageous fight with cancer. Ed was born July 23, 1951, to Clayton Scott and Doris Scott of Pablo, where he grew up. He graduated from Ronan High School in 1971. Ed worked for Curtis and Curtis Construction Company in Bigfork, where he met and married Theiry Curtis, and had two daughters; they later divorced. He later married Marie Johns and had one son. Ed worked for Plum Creek Lumber Company for over 30 years. He retired from Plum Creek about 2001 due to health issues. He loved hunting and fishing and loved telling stories. Ed was preceded in death by his father, Clayton Scott. Ed is survived by his daughters, Silvia Rai and Chuck Webb of Ronan, and Amy and Drew Miller of Evansville; his son, Tucker Scott, of Bigfork; his mother Doris Scott, sister Nancy and Henry Pieper, and brother Clay Scott, all of Pablo, a brother, Jay, and Chris Scott, of Kalispell; four grandchildren, TJ Webb, and Erykah Hoffman of Montana, and Aaron and Jacob Gorman of Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. A memorial and celebration of life for Ed will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 28, at the First Baptist Church of Bigfork, located at 6933 Highway 35, about 3 miles north of Bigfork.
