Slapping woman arrested

A woman slapped a man in the face when he was starting his car at 12:50 p.m. Sunday in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue West. Kalispell Police arrested her.

A woman called at 12:46 p.m. Sunday to report that she needed the cops at an address in the 200 block of Eighth Avenue West. The call was disconnected, but dispatch got the person back on the line. The woman said she was arguing with her sister over the baby grabbing the phone. The woman denied any disturbance and denied that there was a man in the house, although dispatch could hear a man calling a woman a derogatory term.

A report was taken of a woman in a red car who struck a boy on a bicycle in the 1400 block of Fifth Avenue West at 12:57 p.m. Sunday. The boy then got in the car with the woman. The vehicle headed southbound toward Sunnyside Drive.

Someone struck a deer with a vehicle on U.S. 2 East near the Woodland Park turnoff at 8:14 p.m. Saturday. The deer was lying in the road. An officer responded and left a message with the Montana Department of Transportation.

A drunk man was at a business on North Main Street harassing customers at 5:12 p.m. Saturday.

A hit-and-run accident was reported at 7:06 p.m. Saturday after a vehicle struck a shopping cart into another vehicle at a business in the 2300 block of U.S. 93 North.

A security officer at a business in the 300 block of Sunnyview Lane reported that a woman assaulted two people at 7:39 p.m. Saturday. The 42-year-old woman had an arrest warrant out of Montana Highway Patrol/Kalispell for driving under the influence.

A transient was lying in the middle of a parking lot in the 300 block of First Avenue West at 10 p.m. Saturday.

Someone complained about 12 kids spinning doughnuts in a parking lot on First Avenue East North at 10:31 p.m. Saturday.

A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle on East Northview Loop sometime Friday night.

A vehicle window was broken in the 400 block of Seventh Avenue West Friday night.

Ronan Police arrested someone in the 100 block of Pache Lane after a receiving a call about someone driving under the influence at 2:56 a.m. Saturday.

Officers arrested someone in relation to simple assault in the 500 block of Sixth Avenue South West at 12:59 a.m. Saturday.

Police arrested someone in relation to a probation violation in the 800 block of Benjamin Street at 9:08 p.m. Saturday.
