Intoxicated man threatens suicide

Responding to a report of gunshots at a Klondike Loop residence in the Somers area Sunday night, Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies found that a man had come home, intoxicated, and had argued with his wife and threatened suicide. After hearing a gunshot, she left with their three kids. Deputies found a bullet hole in the ceiling and transported the man to Kalispell Regional Medical Center for a mental health evaluation. He may face criminal endangerment charges.

There was a report of an injured eagle on Conn Road in the Columbia Falls area.

Two inmates at the county jail got into a friendly, but overly aggressive wrestling match and had to be separated.

Early Monday, a man was counseled at a Blackie Bay Road residence after he reported that his wife’s son was causing problems.

There was a report of Evergreen Junior High School being vandalized with graffiti.

A South Cedar Drive resident reported that a ring was missing from the house.

Deputies were on the lookout for a man who had threatened suicide and was driving around in the Kalispell area.

A Market Loop Road resident in the Bigfork area reported that jewelry had been stolen from the home.

Lights and other items were reported stolen from a tractor-trailer rig that was parked at a heavy equipment business on Montana 206 near Bigfork.

Kalispell Police responded to a report from a woman who said drunk people were trying to get into her a 10th Avenue West apartment Sunday night. The parties involved were counseled and separated.

A man reported that a woman was in front of A home on the 400 block of College Avenue, screaming in a pickup truck and honking the horn. It turned out to be an argument involving school supplies for the couple’s daughter.

After a person reported being assaulted near a business on First Avenue and Sixth Street, officers brought In three males and a female for interviews at the police station.

Early Monday, there was a report of an unwanted woman at an East Idaho motel.

There was a report of a city snowplow hitting a car on the 200 block of Rosewood Drive.

A woman who was threatening suicide at an East Idaho motel was taken to the Kalispell hospital for a mental health evaluation.

Whitefish Police received a report of a disturbance at the bowling alley on Spokane Avenue involving a man pushing a woman and then leaving Monday.

Columbia Falls Police had no significant incidents, and 20 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Kalispell Ambulance responded to an overdose situation involving a man who was pulled over in a truck on U.S. 93 South. He was hyperventilating and was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
