Stabbing linked to dispute over music
Kalispell police
Asking his roommate to turn the music down apparently got a man stabbed soon after midnight Monday at his Second Avenue East residence. He was knifed in the side and “sliced” in the eye during a dispute, according to Kalispell Police. The victim refused an ambulance. The suspect, who apparently had been drinking, was arrested for assault with a weapon.
Around 2:32 p.m. Monday, two women were seen using chalk to write profanities on the East side wall of a grocery on First Avenue East North.
A woman called police because her friend’s ex-boyfriend apparently won’t stop calling and texting her. Officers are investigating.
Police counseled a man concerned about his ex-girlfriend posting bad things about him on her MySpace page.
A woman called police after a stray Husky apparently got into her yard on Willow Glen and killed her two pet bunnies Tuesday morning.
A babysitter who called to report a 4-year-old as missing located the child while on the phone. The girl, who had been hiding from her sitter, was counseled.
A 17-year-old girl called police after her father apparently threw her to the ground at a Ninth Street West residence around 1:15 p.m. Tuesday. Officers are investigating.
Officers received 53 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.
Flathead County sheriff
A Braig Road resident told Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies a pit bull killed his cat Monday. Although he says he knows the dog did it, deputies said because there were no witnesses to the attack, no action can be taken.
Ten to 15 turkeys went missing Tuesday afternoon after a suspicious truck drove through the area, a Bigfork resident reported. The driver was apparently admiring the turkeys. Deputies are investigating.
Narcotic medications were reported missing from a residence Tuesday afternoon. A woman alleges the drugs, which went missing from a safe, were taken by a man who was staying at her house and hasn’t been seen recently.
After receiving a package from eBay that was reportedly damaged, a Third Avenue West resident called deputies Tuesday afternoon. Authorities advised him this was not a criminal matter.
Deputies received 112 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Alarms
A 37-year-old woman was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center after she was apparently kneed in the tailbone at a Sixth Avenue East residence around midnight.
