Men checking out the library

After Kalispell Police officers interviewed a suspicious woman in the bushes near the Flathead County Library just before midnight Sunday, they suspected that someone might be inside. Officers entered the building on First Avenue and found two men and computer equipment that appeared to have been moved. The men, ages 20 and 21, were arrested on felony burglary charges and it appeared they gained entry through a window that had been rigged earlier.

A man, 63, was arrested for a restraining order violation on the 400 block of Seventh Avenue West.

There was a report of someone causing a disturbance and harassing security personnel near the emergency room at Kalispell Regional Medical Center. He was gone when officers arrived.

Responding to a report of a domestic dispute at a motel on U.S. 93 South Monday morning, officers chased and apprehended a man in the parking lot, arresting him for obstruction and a warrant.

A West Nicklaus resident reported that three new golf clubs had been stolen from an unlocked garage.

Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a girl, 15, for partner family member assault after she attacked her parents at a Mallard Loop residence near Whitefish Sunday night.

A boy, 17,  was arrested for partner-family member assault after an altercation with his father at a Sulky Lane residence.

A boy, 16, was counseled after his parents reported that he was punching holes in the walls at their 14th Street East North residence near Columbia Falls.

A resident on Timber Road near Kalispell reported that a  neighbor had just bitten her husband on the leg.

Goggles, a helmet and gloves were reported stolen at Whitefish Mountain Resort. In separate reports, a backpack, ski boots and a cell phone were stolen.

There was a report of an East Idaho business in Evergreen getting broken into, with the perpetrators causing damage inside. It was unclear if anything was taken.

Deputies made sure arrangements were in order after a woman reported that her ex-husband had failed to return their children, as required, at a Klondyke Loop residence in Somers.

There was a report of a computer and some money missing after a burglary at a Whitefish Stage Road business that did not require forced entry.

A person reported that a dog had recently attacked her cat near a residence on the 2000 block of Ninth Street West near Columbia Falls. The person reported that the cat had since gotten sick, was foaming at the mouth, and attacking her. An animal warden responded.

A North Somers Road resident reported that she was getting threats from her son’s girlfriend’s mother.

Responding to a disturbance at residence on the 100 block of Iowa Avenue Sunday night, Whitefish Police arrested a woman, 35, for disorderly conduct and child endangerment, abandonment or neglect.

After a traffic stop Monday morning in an alley near Sixth Street East, a man, 25, was arrested for being an habitual offender and having a suspended drivers license.

After a traffic stop at a U.S. 2 convenience store early Monday, Columbia Falls Police arrested a woman, 43, for drunk driving.
