'Test driver' might have crossed border

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a man in Alberta, Canada, who was concerned about “missing persons” who had taken a vehicle for an extended test drive and had failed to return. He wanted to know if they had crossed the border into Montana, and according to the Border Patrol, they have not.

There was a disturbance at a Riverside Road residence near Bigfork involving a son who was pushing his mother around. Those involved were separated by deputies.

Walmart employees reported that a woman wearing a camouflage jacket had shoplifted undergarments and fled the store. Some of the items were found Monday morning near a neighboring business.

Three windows were reportedly broken out of a building on U.S. 2 west of Columbia Falls.

A business in Lakeside was vandalized with spray paint.

A Blaine Mountain Road resident reported three guns being missing. A son is suspected of taking them.

License plates were stolen from a vehicle parked on Whitefish Stage Road.

Skis were reported stolen at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

The Salvation Army reported to Kalispell Police that donation bins behind the U.S. 93 South store had been raided by a thief sometime Sunday night.

There was a report of a mirror being broken off a truck parked at Kalispell Regional Medical Center over the weekend.

An attorney reported that a man was refusing to leave his 4 Mile Drive office. The man left before officers arrived.

A Kenway Drive resident reported that a woman was banging on the door and trying to get in. The woman left while the caller was on the phone.

Construction tools were reported stolen at the 100 block of Jackson Peak Drive.

Columbia Falls police got a report of clothes being stolen from a laundromat on U.S. 2 Sunday night.

A man, 37, was arrested on a warrant at City Court on Monday.

Whitefish police arrested a teenage boy for assault after a disturbance at the Whitefish Middle School Monday afternoon.

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a fire that damaged a shop building on the 4700 block of Trumble Creek Road Sunday evening. The scene was cleared by firefighters about an hour after the initial report.
