Unwanted man finally leaves bar

A downtown Kalispell bar reported Sunday that an unwanted man refused to leave, but he did so and was later located nearby and counseled by Kalispell Police.

A Seventh Avenue West resident reported that his ex-girlfriend refused to leave his house. After police arrived, she did so.

A woman calling from a hotel on U.S. 93 South reported that a man was refusing to leave her room. The couple were later separated by officers.

After a traffic stop on Eighth Street West, a man, 24, was arrested for drunk driving.

Early Monday, a man was arrested for drunk driving and on a warrant in the parking lot of a convenience store near Walmart.

Calling from a home on the 300 block of Third Avenue West, a man said that he doesn’t want to be “hit again” by a woman who appeared to extremely intoxicated. She was arrested for partner-family member assault.

There was a report of criminal trespass involving a man and woman who were unwanted at an East Idaho convenience store. They left and were later located by officers.

A man reported  that the brother of his roommate, who had previously made threats against him over the phone, was currently inside and unwanted at a home on the 900 block of Fourth Avenue East.

There were 56 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

The Flathead County Sheriff’s Office got a report Sunday from a man who said his wife was hitting him at a home the North Fork Road. The couple were separated for the night.

There was a report of ski equipment and a snowboard being stolen from a bus stop area at Whitefish Mountain Resort.

Someone walked out of a Montana 35 convenience store with a case of beer.

There was a report of kids tearing up a yard on a four-wheeler near a business on Montana 35. Deputies were unable to locate the perpetrators.

There was a report of a panhandler blocking traffic near Walmart. He was asked to leave.

There were 123 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Columbia Falls Police arrested a woman, 25, for drunk driving after a traffic stop Sunday night on U.S. 2.

A man, 21, was arrested after a bail bondsmen brought him into the police station for a bond revocation.

Early Monday, a woman, 34, was arrested on a highway patrol contempt warrant, and a probation violation after it was discovered she had been drinking.

There were 14 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Whitefish Police had no significant incidents and just 17 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

Alarms

The Columbia Falls Fire Department responded to a report of flames shooting from a chimney at a home on Elk Park Road Sunday. The chimney was put down in five minutes.

The Creston Fire Department responded to an accident involving a logging and a vehicle on Montana 35 east of Kalispell Monday morning. While the wreckage blocked the highway for about an hour, nobody required medical transport.
