Kalispell Police Special Response Team officers approach a home on Fourth Avenue West North on Friday afternoon. Police officers arrived on scene at 11:30 a.m. and were on hand until the man voluntarily surrendered at 5 p.m. Nearby homes were evacuated and streets blocked off. The man, who was not charged with a crime, was treated for minor self-inflicted wounds.

According to Robinson having quadruplets is rare for these sheep, twins or triplets is the norm. Adding to the unlikeliness of these lambs is that all four are the same sex, female, and all four are true Moorits, meaning they have brown faces, legs and fleece.

A Mineral County Search and Rescue crew maneuvers on the lower Flathead River on Tuesday afternoon. At least four boats fitted with sonar equipment searched the river between the town of Dixon and the river’s confluence with the Clark Fork River, searching for a missing small plane.
