Gas station is site of stabbing

The Kalispell Police Department responded after a man was reportedly stabbed by his girlfriend Saturday night at a gas station in Evergreen. The man was at Kalispell Regional Medical Center at 11:17 p.m.

Police responded to the 700 block of Liberty Street after a woman reported that her lip was bloodied and that she was choked by a man who threatened to kill her. The call came in at 9:41 p.m.

Police responded to a suspicious-person call about an unstable man who left a knife sharpener on the sidewalk at 7:49 p.m. Saturday. The man left the scene on his bicycle. When questioned, the man said the sharpener was for knives so they could slay dragons. The man was counseled to stay away from the business in the 200 block of South Main.

At 11:32 p.m. Saturday, a woman reported that her car window was broken by a rock. She believes the kids involved where the same ones who threatened her son with a gun Friday night. The kids were headed westbound on Northridge Drive in two vehicles.

Someone reported a hit-and-run accident on Friday in the mall parking lot.

A Lake County Sheriff’s Office deputy arrested an individual on a theft charge after the person allegedly took something from a vehicle outside a Main Street business in Polson at 9:17 p.m. Saturday.
