Sailboats are backlit as they wait for the winds to come up on Friday evening on Flathead Lake. The normal Friday night races became a practice run for the Montana Cup Regatta which began on Saturday and continues today.
Dan Barger leads the group of runners in the Swan Crest 100 off of Highway 83 onto Lost Creek Road Friday morning. Barger on Saturday morning was the first finisher in a time of 24 hours, 37 minutes for the 100-mile run along the Swan Crest. By midnight, 20 runners had dropped out of the race; 44 runners started the race Friday morning in Swan Lake.
