Man hits bicycling girl with truck
Kalispell Police responded to a verbal disturbance 3:10 p.m. Saturday when a man driving a red Chevy Tahoe apparently struck a girl riding a bike in the 100 block of Appleway Drive. The child was unhurt, but the man followed her home and yelled at her parents.
Police took a report of a woman taking items from the ladies’ room of a city business at 3:10 p.m. Saturday.
Someone called police to report that he thought his neighbor was growing marijuana in the 1000 block of Seventh Avenue.
Police took a report of a chow-mix dog staying in a shed at an abandoned house in the 800 block of Second Avenue.
Someone complained about a neighbor throwing garbage in front of her house at 8:21 p.m. Saturday in the 400 block of Liberty Street.
Police took a walk-in complaint about a stolen license plate at 9:04 p.m. Saturday.
A woman left a residence but later called her husband and harassed him at 9:54 p.m. Saturday in the 2100 block of Merganser Drive. The woman reportedly damaged his computer wiring while at the residence.
A vehicle rollover took place at 2:16 a.m. Sunday on East Edgewood Drive. The pickup truck contained three people, who were apparently uninjured.
At 2:45 a.m. Sunday, police received a call about a silver Buick striking Dumpsters and a green power box near South Main and Third streets.
At 3 a.m. Sunday, a woman with long brown hair wearing “short shorts” was reported stumbling out into the road in the 1500 block of U.S. 93.
A woman called at 8:34 a.m. Sunday about her neighbor’s roosters crowing at 4 a.m. in the 1200 block of Second Avenue.
Someone reported that a couple of boxes of compact discs were missing after a garage sale in the 1500 block of Fifth Avenue.
At 11:35 a.m. Sunday, police received a report about woman assaulting someone with a knife in the 900 block of Fourth Avenue. The female suspect is described as heavy-set with a tattoo on her chest and brown wavy hair.
Lake County Sheriff’s Office responded to a disorderly conduct call in regard to juvenile curfew violations at 3:41 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of Sixth Avenue West in Polson.
A simple assault call was made at 5:41 a.m. Saturday in the 900 block of Fifth Avenue East in Polson.
An arrest was made related to a partner/family member assault in the 41200 block of Bay Point Road at 7:15 a.m. Saturday.
Deputies responded to a disorderly conduct call at 12:11 a.m. Saturday in the 41800 block of Joe Dog Drive.
A vehicle accident with property damage was reported at 9:01 p.m. Saturday at Mission Valley Raceway. A separate vehicle accident with property damage was reported at 6:28 a.m. Sunday at St. Mary Lake and Mission Dam roads by the Montana Highway Patrol.
Alarms
A motorcycle collided with a deer near mile marker 100 on U.S. 2 at 4:18 p.m. Sunday. An ambulance was paged to the scene. The rider was reportedly up and walking around.
