Kalispell police looked for a teen who drove through a fast-food drive-through on U.S. 93 North completely unclothed Saturday evening. They have a suspect and report that he was last seen driving south. The manager would like to press charges, police said, but the restaurant reportedly has no video of the incident.
Three arrests were logged in two hours Saturday afternoon. A 20-year-old man was arrested on a Flathead County warrant for bad checks and a Montana Highway Patrol warrant for speeding. A 46-year-old man was arrested for having an open container. And a 57-year-old man was arrested for shoplifting at a grocery store on U.S. 93 South.
A fourth arrest came early Sunday, when a 47-year-old man was arrested at an East Idaho restaurant for theft of services.
Family trouble was reported at a hotel just off U.S. 93 South early Sunday, where a woman reported an intoxicated man threw her and her baby out of their room and was throwing things. Police counseled them and separated them for the night.
A gentleman taking a walk Saturday evening reported a bunch of kids on the roof of Kalispell Middle School and an unoccupied vehicle parked in the lot.
Shortly after midnight somebody reported a man sitting near her home on Two Mile Drive, smoking marijuana. He said he had a medical marijuana card. Nobody was in the area when police arrived.
A party, bonfire and loud music on Fifth Avenue East an hour later prompted police to ask participants to keep the noise down.
Officers had 75 calls for assistance between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Flathead County sheriff’s dispatchers checked into a 911 call from a wireless phone after a small child reportedly said, “If I was God …,” then hung up. Dispatchers return-dialed the number and spoke with a woman who said she’d been having issues with her cell phone.
A 29-year-old man was arrested after reportedly assaulting a woman at an RV park on Montana 35 in Evergreen early Sunday. She received a head injury.
Deputies spoke with some four-wheel drive pickup operators about preserving harmony in the neighborhood after a man complained that he couldn’t hear his TV in his own house because of the noise from the neighbors driving in the next-door field.
The woman was driving recklessly and “acting crazy” as she, a man and a child headed along U.S. 2 near Marion Saturday afternoon, the man told deputies. He made her pull over, then he grabbed her, she hit him, he let her go, and she drove off with the child toward Kalispell in his pickup truck, the man told deputies.
A domestic problem arose on Bear Trail in Happy Valley Saturday night, where a woman threw a man’s belongings outside the house, claiming he hit her. She wanted him gone. He told deputies he wanted to leave but would like to gather his belongings without her throwing everything around.
Deputies checking into a plume of smoke reported on Montana 35 at the Flathead River bridge found seven or eight people at the spot, then turned over the call to Evergreen Fire Department.
Farther south down the river, they checked into several people who were shooting. It turned out they were shooting in a safe manner, but two of them had active warrants and a probation notice. Deputies were called to deal with the same people again a few hours later, when several men reportedly were screaming at each other.
At the former Steel Bridge, it was a man and woman doing everything but fighting. Deputies said the two moved along.
A caller was worried about an apparently intoxicated man lying in the middle of the road at a bar on U.S. 2 between Martin City and Coram. He managed to get up and make his way toward the bar, the caller said.
A runner passing by Braig Road outside Columbia Falls reported a dog apparently broke his chain before running out and biting her on the calf.
Threats reported at a campground on Montana 35 just west of Kalispell resulted from an SUV driver reportedly trying to run over a man on a bicycle. They worked it out, deputies said.
Spotlighting was suspected when a vehicle pulled into a neighbor’s driveway on King’s Way Saturday night, then left.
Windows were broken out of a vehicle and sunglasses were missing from a vehicle at the Ferndale Fire Hall.
The neighbor’s poodle being outside unattended for over an hour, broken glass inside the front door and no answer at the home despite lights being on prompted a midnight call to the sheriff’s office. Deputies made an arrest in the incident.

Columbia Falls police arrested a 28-year-old woman for DUI along U.S. 2 near Nucleus Avenue early Sunday.
Officers located a reckless driver Saturday afternoon, following up on a report of a vehicle headed east on U.S. 2 toward the city.

Whitefish police arrested a 19-year-old man at a home on Wisconsin Avenue after the sheriff’s office relayed a message that the resident’s son was out front screaming, yelling, freaking out and trying to kick the door in. It was a repeat of what happened Friday, the report said. He was taken into custody for being a minor in possession, disorderly conduct and criminal trespass.
Officers had 14 calls for assistance between 3:30 p.m. Saturday and 3:30 p.m. Sunday.
Alarms
Bigfork ambulance and fire department were called to the Swan River Road, where a vehicle had gone over an embankment Saturday night. One patient was taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.
Kalispell firefighters were called when flames were seen shooting out of a trash can in an alley behind Fifth Avenue West Saturday night.
Big Mountain ambulance was called after a snow boarder and skier crashed on the slopes Sunday afternoon, but ALERT helicopter ended up taking the patient to Kalispell Regional Medical Center. Later, Big Mountain ambulance took an injured patient to North Valley Hospital.
