Woods Bay sewer survey to be mailed
Property owners in the Woods Bay area will receive surveys as part of an effort to build a sewer system.
The Greater Woods Bay Sewer District, in cooperation with the Woods Bay Homesites Water and Sewer District and the Sheavers Creek Water and Sewer District, will mail income surveys to property owners within the service area of the proposed wastewater collection system.
The district is applying for federal funding from USDA Rural Development, so it has to provide current income estimates for residents of the service area, according to a press release.
The Midwest Assistance Program will conduct the income survey.
This survey is confidential; all information will be used only for the project.
Property owners should expect the surveys in their mailboxes starting March 4.
The survey will include a map and a self-addressed and stamped envelope.
To meet funding application deadlines, the surveys must be returned by March 31.
The district has been working on the proposed sewer project for more than four years.
