An irate owner apparently wasn’t ready to give up his car, ramming it into the tow truck trying to repossess it. The owner then drove the nearly repossessed vehicle off from the Fourth Avenue East Residence around 9 a.m. Tuesday. Kalispell Police officers are investigating.

Finding a jacketless 11-year-old boy walking northbound on Main Street near the Idaho Street intersection around 11:30 p.m., a concerned motorist picked him up and brought him to the station. Officers located the boy’s mother, who was at a church on South Main listening to a guest speaker. The boy’s mother told police he said he wanted to get a drink of water, then left. The child was returned to his mother.

Officers were flagged down by people engaged in a heated verbal discussion over puppy selling in the parking lot of a casino on Main and Idaho.

Four kids seen playing on the ice in Drybridge Gulch Park Monday afternoon were gone when officers arrived.

The flannel-robed elderly person seen pushing a cart down Two Mile Drive Monday night was gone when police arrived.

Coming home around 7:45 p.m. Monday, a woman noticed an unknown man standing at her neighbor’s door. When she pulled up, the dark-clothed man took off walking at a rapid pace. Officers contacted the woman inside the Parkridge Drive residence, who said she had been sleeping and hadn’t heard the door. Fifteen minutes later, the man returned. The resident told police she didn’t know the man and wanted him to leave. He was gone when officers arrived the second time.

A 1 a.m. burglary set off an alarm at a casino on U.S. 93 South. A bag of money was reported missing. There are no suspects at this time.

A 10-year-old was released to his parents after he allegedly attempted to shoplift Pokemon cards from a store on U.S. 93 North.

Officers received 83 calls for service between 2:30 p.m. Monday and 2:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Suspicious syringes found along Stoner Creek Tuesday afternoon were handed over to Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies.

A Somers Road resident noticed a light in the yard had been shot out sometime the previous night. There are no suspects.

Deputies were unable to locate the angry motorist seen waving a clenched fist in the air while driving along Montana 206 Monday afternoon.

The owner of a blue heeler that chased a boy on a bike along Wettington Drive Monday around 4 p.m. Monday was given a verbal warning.

A reportedly out-of-control 16-year-old, upset over having to do chores at a Dawn Drive residence, was counseled by deputies around 4:45 p.m. Monday.

Deputies counseled the Wettington Drive resident who was shooting a .22-caliber gun in the area.

Deputies are searching for the man seen walking and kicking a calf in Creston around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday.

Deputies received 118 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Eight vehicles parked in the Seventh Street West and Second Avenue West area were broken into Monday night, according to Columbia Falls Police. Some of the vehicles were unlocked, but windows were broken out of locked vehicles. The thief stole everything from purses to electronics and other miscellaneous items. It is unclear if the perpetrator was on foot or in a car. There are no suspects at this time. Officers are investigating and urge people to not keep valuables in their cars.

Officers received 19 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

Whitefish Police received 17 calls for service between 3:30 p.m. Monday and 3:30 p.m. Tuesday.

The Marion Fire Department extinguished a smoldering 1-acre fire near Lost Trail Ranch Monday afternoon.

Following a bike accident that left him bleeding from his hands and face, a 12-year-old boy was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A man who vomited blood three times around 10:50 p.m. at a West Idaho gas station blamed it on food poisoning. The 26-year-old was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center.

A fire in the engine of a truck along U.S. 2 West caused disabling damage around noon Tuesday. Smith Valley Fire extinguished the blaze and the truck was towed. No injuries were reported.
