A 37-inch flatscreen television flew off a car somewhere between Libby and Kalispell Wednesday afternoon. Its owner was moving and got an unpleasant surprise upon arrival at his new home. Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies logged the incident. The missing TV has yet to be located.
Dogs apparently without food or water spotted in a Shady Lane yard around 5:15 p.m. Tuesday were checked out by deputies. Deputies determined the animals were healthy, but counseled the owners about the muddy pen the dogs were kept in.
An ex was apparently threatening a woman and her boyfriend at a Meadow Lark Drive residence Tuesday evening.

A motorist was concerned that a man holding a sign advertising mastiff puppies was standing too close to Main and Idaho traffic Tuesday afternoon. Officers determined the man was on the sidewalk and not obstructing traffic. Another passer-by was concerned the dogs might be from a puppy mill.
An employee at a bank on North Main Street accidentally dialed 911 while attempting to call Costa Rica around 4 p.m. Tuesday. To make an international call, it is necessary to dial 011 first.
Two dogs charged a woman as she walked her dog along Second Avenue East North around 9:30 p.m. Tuesday. The animals apparently relented after she yelled at them. The dog’s owner was cited.

Two people with unknown injuries were taken to Kalispell Regional Medical Center Wednesday morning following an accident that involved two vehicles and a tree along South Main Street. Kalispell Police cited a 60-year-old woman for failing to obey a traffic control device.
A car caught fire along West Reserve on Wednesday afternoon. The fire was extinguished by Evergreen Fire Rescue crews. The fire’s cause is unknown and no injuries were reported.
Following a hit and run in the parking lot of a Baker Avenue grocery Tuesday afternoon, one person was transported to North Valley Hospital.
A man in his 60s complaining of abdominal pain was transported to Kalispell Regional Medical Center from a Hungry Horse inn Wednesday morning.
