Creston firefighter Tracy Wildes-Mayhood sprays down the garage from the roof of a home near Creston Sunday afternoon. Creston, Bad Rock and Evergreen firefighters responded to a garage fire at 2 p.m. Sunday that spread to part of a home at 405 Cayuse Lane. Three people were treated for minor injuries and smoke inhalation; all were released by Sunday evening. A dog and cat died in the fire.

Woodruff laughs has he watches his grandson focus on painting details on the car. "A three dollar car ends up costing 30 dollars by the time your done with it," said Woodruff. The Boy Scouts Pinewood Derby will be held at the Kalispell Center mall on Saturday, March 20, beginning at 11 a.m.

The roof should be finished by next week and the 8,000-square-foot building is expected to be completed in June.
