Arrest validates suspicion of vehicle

Responding to a report of suspicious activity involving a vehicle parked on Wagner Lane near Church Slough Sunday night, Flathead County Sheriff’s deputies arrested a man, 36, on a warrant from another jurisdiction.

Ski and snowboarding equipment was reported stolen from a garage on Parkside Drive in Evergreen.

Monday, there was a report of a wedding ring and clothing stolen from a vehicle on Dale Drive in the Kalispell area.

A Pheasant Road resident in the Columbia Falls area reported that tires on a vehicle had been slashed.

There was a report of a wolf attacking a dog near Skyles Lake Road. It was unknown if the dog survived, and it was unconfirmed if it was actually attacked by a wolf.

A man reported that he had located his stolen wood-splitting maul at a pawn shop on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

There were 124 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

After getting a report about an unwanted person at a West Idaho business Sunday night, Kalispell Police arrested a man, 43, on criminal trespass charges.

There was a report of a bicycle that was locked at Kalispell Middle School being stolen.

Early Monday, officers counseled a man and woman who had been arguing at a residence on the 800 block of Third Street West. She was moving out and he wasn’t happy about it.

 There was a report of vehicle windows being broken out and a tool box with tools stolen on the 300 block of Sixth Avenue West.

There were 44 log entries between 3:30 p.m, Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

After a traffic stop in a bar parking lot off U.S. 2, Columbia Falls Police arrested  a man, 20, for drunk driving and for misrepresenting his age for alcohol.

There were 13 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Sunday and 3:30 p.m. Monday.

After a 10-minute pursuit of a motorcycle on U.S. 93, the Montana Highway Patrol stopped the driver and arrested him Sunday night.
