James Allen Wittlake, 74

James Allen Wittlake, 74, Our beloved father and friend, passed away April 21, 2010, at his home in Somers. He was born May 13, 1935, in Flathead County. Jim married Alice Nelson on August 29, 1955. They moved their family to Somers in 1959. During his lifetime, Dad had many interests, a few of which were trapping, prospecting, logging, farming, and gardening. But his favorite times were spent hunting and fishing in the Montana wilderness. Over the years, Jim has had many memorable hunting and fishing buddies, but the ones he will miss the most are his friends Bruce and Norman. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ed and Mable; wife, Alice; daughter, Laurie; infant son; infant granddaughter, Heather; and his brother, Bud. Those left to cherish his memory are son, Matt; and daughters, Kathy, Chris, and Debbie; sisters, Margaret, Sandy, and Roxy, nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. In addition to his family, Jim will be missed by his many wonderful friends and neighbors.
