Too buzzed for dentist's drill

Whitefish Police got a report Wednesday of a man being turned away from a dentist’s office on 13th Street East after it was determined he was too drunk to be treated. The man was given a ride home.

Sunday, there was a report of three suspicious males at Woodland Place, one of whom appeared to be carrying an assault rifle. It turned out to be an Airsoft gun.

There was a report of items being stolen at Grouse Mountain Lodge.

A boat and trailer were reported stolen on the 200 block of Spencer Trail.

A woman went to a medical clinic for treatment after reporting to the Flathead County Sheriff’s Office that she was assaulted on the 100 block of Dover Drive in the Kalispell area Tuesday. The incident is under investigation.

A traveling salesman who was going door-to-door in the South Woodland area called to report he had been assaulted. A resident allegedly asked him to leave and then assaulted him.

A boy, 16, reportedly pushed his mother at a Stonecrest Drive residence in the Kalispell area, and then ran away.

A person reported witnessing an exchange of drugs and money on U.S. 2 in Evergreen.

A man reported being followed home by other men, who then attempted to pull him from his car in the Olney Loop Road area.

Early Wednesday, there was a disturbance report involving a husband and wife on Scenic Drive. The husband had already fled on foot by the time deputies arrived.

After going the wrong way on a one-way street, a man, 48, was arrested on Main Street in Kalispell for drunk driving and having a suspended license, as well as the traffic violation.

A person reported that a German shepherd had killed a deer in the yard of a residence on Caroline Road.

A woman reported from a Kila Road residence that her boyfriend took her vehicle without permission. She decided she will get it back on her own.

Sheriff’s dispatch had 128 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Kalispell Police arrested a man, 31, on a warrant after he appeared in city court Tuesday afternoon.

A man was arrested for partner-family member assault after he allegedly grabbed a woman by the throat in a custody dispute near Linderman School.

There was a report of a crying, barefoot woman carrying a child on Third Avenue East North, with a man following her in a vehicle and yelling at her.

A woman reported from the 500 block of Eighth Avenue West that her boyfriend had broken out the passenger window of her vehicle.

There were 89 log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Columbia Falls Police had no significant incidents and just seven log entries between 3:30 p.m. Tuesday and 3:30 p.m. Wednesday.
