Polson boys, girls win county track titles

POLSON — The Polson girls owned the track on Thursday, winning every race except the 3,200.

The Lady Pirates tallied 172 points thanks to 12 first-place finishes at the Lake County Invite.

The Polson boys nearly followed stride and won eight events and totaled 150.83 points for the win.

Breanne Kelley turned in individual victories in the 100, 200 and 100 hurdles and Nicole Davey won the 400, 300 hurdles and pole vault. Mesa Starkey won the 800 and 1,600 and Loni Havlovick won the discus and shot put for Polson also.

Multiple-winners for Polson’s boys were Colter Cull in the 800 and 1,600 and Alex Havlovick in the discus and shot put.

Ronan’s Adessa Durglo swept all three girls jump events.
