daughter of Dan McCarthy and Wendy Giono of Kalispell, was born March 15 at North Valley Hospital.

She weighed 7 pounds, 10.9 ounces, and was 20 inches long.

Kayla joins Danae, 17, Nicole, 15, and McKenna, 3.

Paternal grandparents are Tom and Gioia McCarthy of Kalispell. Paternal grandparents are Steve and Laura Schumacher of Fairfax, Calif.
