Veteran community college employees honored

Flathead Valley Community College has acknowledged 29 employees with Employee Service Awards.

The following employees were recognized at the college’s monthly Board of Trustees meeting April 26 for their years of service at FVCC:

n 30 years of service: Counselor George Shryock.

n 25 years of service: Learning Center administrative assistant Joy Carson; work study and veterans’ affairs coordinator Nancy Hanchett; language arts instructor Lowell Jaeger and English instructor Christy Kabler.

n 15 years of service: Chemistry instructor Janice Alexander; Foundation financial management and gift coordinator Susan Evans; computer applications/accounting instructor Philip MacGregor; chemistry instructor Paul Martino; custodian David McGuire; sociology instructor Deb Miller; campus receptionist Jennifer Petry; career and technical education director Bill Roope; and business education instructor Brenda Rudolph

n 10 years of service: President Jane Karas
