Jo-Anne O. Franchi, 69

Jo-Anne O. Franchi, 69, passed away peacefully on May 16, 2010. Born in San Francisco, Jo-Anne was the oldest of five children born to Adrienne and Joseph Osterloh. She married Donald R. Franchi in 1961 and together they had two children, Andrea of Medford, Ore., and Edward of Kalispell. After a long career as a registered nurse at Woodland Memorial Hospital in California, Jo-Anne retired to Kalispell to be closer to her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren. She was blessed with six grandchildren, Jonah, Tyler, Maya, Cory, Solomon and Ava; and her two daughters-in-law, Cassie Trujillo and Eden Roberts Franchi. Jo-Anne enjoyed the support and friendship she found in the Kalispell community. She was a gifted needle crafter and seamstress who enjoyed making gifts for her many friends and family. Jo-Anne held The Serenity Prayer close to her heart. A celebration of her life will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 22, at 916 Seventh Avenue E., in Kalispell.
